As a principal at Hive House SLC, Matt focuses on overseeing every aspect of construction from start to finish. He manages all of Hive House’s designs and brings them to reality. He prides himself in building the best homes that are of the utmost quality. With over 20 years in the construction field, Matt has earned his stripes and knows that his high standard of building will stand the test of time. Matt is focused on quality above all else.

Matt has been a pivotal figure in the construction industry since 2001, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to his work. His journey began with a focus on traditional building practices, but in 2002, he identified the growing importance of electronic integration and expanded his skill set accordingly. By 2006, he had established his own electronic integration business, designing systems for high-end residential homes, commercial systems, and University installations.

One of Matt's notable achievements is the University of Utah’s basketball court projection system, which debuted in 2015 and gained recognition in AV Network Magazine. His involvement with the University of Utah’s Athletics Department since 2012 highlights his expertise in both AV installations and systems design.

Matt's extensive background in construction, coupled with his innovative approach to integrating advanced technology, provides Hive House SLC with a distinct advantage in the custom home building market. His deep understanding of construction materials, methods, and design principles enables him to create durable and efficient structures while seamlessly incorporating energy-efficient systems and cutting-edge technologies.
